I excelled in mathematics in school because when I was younger my parents convinced me that people that are good at math are smart with their money. I always payed particular attention in my math classes the most so I would be good with money. I'm also good at following directions and steps, so the steadiness math has always made the subject easy for me. Knowing all that I need to do is remember the formula and steps is the reason why math has constantly been my best subject. Unlike math, reading and writing is up to the individual's discretion so there's more than one answer. Other subjects never seemed to keep my attention.
